Permanently fuelled by caffeine, Marek Z. Turner is a crime fiction and thriller writer who takes his coffee like he writes his stories. Dark and bitter.He is a member of the Crime Writers' Association (UK), and was a finalist in the 2021 Capital Crime New Voices Award competition, and in 2024 was shortlisted for the Black Spring Press ‘Crimebits’ competition, as judged by Lee Child.He has had short stories published on sites such as the Crime Writers Association, Punk Noir, The Yard, and Urban Pigs Press as well as featured in several anthologies. He has also contributed work to 88 Films, Aspects of Cime, Diabolique Magazine, Scream Magazine, and Tetrovideo, amongst others.When he’s not plotting fictional crimes, he’s available for writing commissions, collaborations, and podcast appearances.
